This insurance provides legal assistance in case of a legal dispute, for example over freight settlement, contracts of sale, engine instalment contracts and criminal proscecution for shipping violations.
In principle, the legal assistance insurance relates only to the matters having to do with the business operations with your ship, but it is possible to expand this ship cover by cover for your car and/or family.

Example: You order a new engine and a contract is made for delivery and installation. The supplier, however, fails to keep various agreements and you cannot settle this between you.
