If you have a new vessel constructed (or finished) or have a substantial rebuilding of your existing ship carried out, you can take out construction insurance with us. This insurance covers risks specifically connected with the construction/rebuilding of your company vessel. Materials and parts intended for the ship are also covered, even before they have been installed in or on the ship, and even during manufacture and transport to your ship.

Example: You have a new wheelhouse constructed by interior finshers. When the wheelhouse is almost ready, a fire starts in the interior finishers' warehouse and the wheelhouse is lost.
